We have a new Live record coming this spring!  It was great to see all of you who came out in Baltimore, DC, and NYC last month.  Thanks for making those shows VERY memorable.

LIVE RECORD UPDATE:

 

First, thanks to all who came to the shows that we recorded at Ottobar, Mercury Lounge and Rock and Roll Hotel.  The energy on those nights was amazing and it translated into the recordings.  We will spend the next few months mixing the record and will let you know as soon as preorders begin.  Stay tuned.

 

 

WEBSITE UPDATE:

We’ve added 11 LIVE TRACKS to the music section of http://www.laketrout.com feel free to download and share these tracks with your friends.  We’ve put a variety of stuff there for you to stream OR download.  There are some older songs there, some newer stuff and some of the instrumental ambient “songs”. 

 

 

BIG IN JAPAN RECORDING:

 

Big In Japan will be going into the studio in February for the first time!  Stay tuned for announcements regarding the progress of this recording.  Hopefully we’ll have something to play for you by summer! 

 

BAND MEMBERS’ SIDE PROJECTS:

 

Matt, James, and Mike are busy touring and writing new material with their big beat, ethereal, mostly instrumental, trio Big In Japan.  See BIJ’s gig listings above and be sure to sign up to their myspace page for recent live tracks from the group. 

 

Ed is playing guitar and singing with a group called Blonde Hair Blue Eyes.  They are currently recording and gigging on the east coast.  See their myspace page for tunes and tour dates.

 

Woody recently finished producing the new Benzos record.  He is currently working on tracks with Blonde Hair Blue Eyes and writing music for film and television.
