Well last night was shaping up to be a typical new york experience with us.......which for me means some pacing and frantically trying to keep up with, well I guess now, most of friends who live there and trying to fit a show in there....its kind of like balancinc plates...which was fun. Everything was going great and on our fourth song we busted out the fog....just a little fog ...and the fire alarm went off and the entire club had to empty out onto the street and await the word of the nyfd who came out four trucks strong...full regalia.........so it was kind of buzz kill all due to Ferdinand our little fog machine. Amazingly most our awesome audience came back in and we rocked on right from where we left off...so what could have become a total disaster ended up being a very strange experience we were able to share with our audience...........and fortunately I did not allow nyc to chew me and spit back out the next day with no sleep......so feeling pretty good. Just ate some fajitas sittin here in poughkeepsie. I don't want to offend any of you out there but this town gives me the creeps....its like Silent Hill or something, all these creepy creeps lurking around out there and its all cold too.....anyway the benzos are good guys we all ate fajitas together at this restaurant called aculpoco I think. It was really cute, our server didn't speak english that well so she had her little daughter walk with her while she took our orders.......and the mom totally reminded me of inez from bottle rocket........ Tomorow in conn. Is free by the way just to clear up any confusion........ I bought a million books before I left so I guess now would be a good time to start one up.....think I will go with....being there...it so cold though out there in the van maybe too cold...I'll check.......yup too cold,but I could go out to the van get the book then run back in......so that's what I'll do..bye for now....mike
